SAP S/4HANA Business Transformation Lead

Tasks Strategic Planning and Alignment:

  • Develop a comprehensive SAP S/4HANA business transformation strategy
  • Align project with organizational goals & define clear milestones & deliverables in collaboration with IT Program Manager

Business Program-/Project Management:

  • plan, execute & close project phases
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, resources & scope
  • Monitor progress & adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful delivery

Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs & concerns
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively
  • Ensure business stakeholder buy-in and support throughout the projectlifecycle

Change Management:

  • Develop & implement change management strategies
  • Prepare the organization for transformation through training & communication
  • Manage resistance & ensure smooth adoption of new systems & processes across all business stakeholders

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Mentoring and leading cross-functional project teams
  • Foster collaborative, productive team environment

Risk and Issue Management:

  • Identify potential risks & develop mitigation plans
  • Address issues promptly to minimize impact on the project
  • Ensure compliance with risk management policies

Data Management and Migration:

  • Ensure data quality & integrity throughout the transformation
  • Coordinate with IT teams for data-related tasks

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish & track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews based on business value case to assess success

Financial Management:

  • Manage project budgets & control costs
  • Conduct financial analysis to demonstrate ROI
  • Ensure financial reporting aligns with organizational requirements

Vendor and Contract Management:

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, supporting business departments
  • Ensure timely delivery of vendor services and products
Skills
  • Bachelor‘s degree in Business Administration, information Technology or related field (Master‘s degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program-/project management, specifically SAP S/4HANA transformation projects (on business side)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification (PMI, PRINCE2 ) is a plus
  • Excellent leadership, communication & interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale business transformation projects
  • Clear & effective communication (fluent in English & German is a must) to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Understanding of relevant regulations for the transformation to comply with regulatory requirements (e.g. data protection, financial regulations)
  • Ability to navigate & manage high-pressure situation with composure and positive attitude
  • Establish & maintain credibility among diverse stakeholders by proven expertise, effective communication, upholding high ethical standards & transparency, fostering an environment of respect & valued partnerships
