Business Analyst SAP SDP

Tasks The task involves creating the content together with the technical specialists. The text modules and variables as well as the template layout are defined with the help of SAP SDP.

The project is implemented according to the HERMES project management method and is currently in the realisation phase. The following tasks and results are expected to be created, continued and maintained on the basis of the sub-project order and the results already achieved:

Realisation phase

Create / revise technical specification

– Clarify document content and process details and document them in the technical specification

– Ensure cross-organisational editorial revision and legal review

– Commission translations of the output documents

Trigger / ensure technical integration

– Maintain existing / new CI/CD

– Obtain document ID

– Maintain document names and document types in multiple languages (table maintenance)

– Describe variables and have them technically implemented

– Ensure process integration including correct sender and recipient information (table maintenance/customising)

Implement document template

– Create text modules in the Fiori app and integrate them in all languages and variables

– Mapping the text modules in table maintenance

– Update text modules of the ‘legal text’ type for revisions of legal documents

– Maintain organisation-specific text modules

Check document generation (process integration / document content)

– Integration tests (development and quality assurance environment) for project and operational context

Expected results

– Output templates incl. mapping tables

– Output documents incl. translations

Introduction phase

Carry out tests and create test and acceptance protocols

– The tests of the output templates and documents are carried out independently as part of the integration, technical and acceptance tests as well as the simulation

– The test results must be documented in the test log

– The acceptance test results must be documented in the acceptance report

– End-to-end tests must be carried out as part of the simulation and the test logs must be created

Update documentation

– JIRA (documentation of test results)

– Confluence (documentation of the specification)

Expected results

– Test and acceptance protocols

– Defects are recorded and documented in the form of tickets in JIRA

– The document specification is recorded in Confluence
