Must Criteria

  • Deep understanding of SAP ePP/DS architecture including integration with PP, technical possibilities and limitations, providing functional/technical consulting as needed.
  • Experience as a Solution Architect Control (SCM Planning), particularly in long-term planning (IBP) and operational planning (MRP) with the S/4 tool competencies of ePP/DS (embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling).
  • Technical expertise in SAP ePP/DS, APO, ERP-PP, and S4/HANA with a focus on integrated production planning and control, detailed order planning, and capacity planning including simulation, preferably from a manufacturing industry (rail, mechanical engineering, electrical, automotive, or similar industries).
  • Extensive functional and technical implementation experience of SAP S/4HANA production planning processes, ideally with experience in maintenance-heavy processes and planning workflows.
  • Team and customer-oriented personality with very good analytical and conceptual skills and a pronounced agile mindset (SAFe/Scrum).
    Very good English skills are essential; German skills are an advantage.

 

Nice to have

  • Very good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Activate, and new cloud solutions (such as SAP APM).
  • Extensive experience in creating functional specifications.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager.
  • Very good integrative knowledge of SAP modules MM/PM/PP.
  • Experience in process modeling with BPMN 2.0.
  • Knowledge of the SAFe methodology.
Location Bern, 60/40 split on-site and remote + occasional travel to other locations in CH

We are looking for a Project Manager Senior for our client on a project basis.

Tasks
  • Analysing and substantiating a project idea; assessing the project idea in terms of feasibility, profitability, risks and success factors in consultation with the portfolio manager, programme manager and client.
  • Preparation of a preliminary project study. This forms the basis for the decision as to whether or not to start a project. It is the prerequisite for drawing up the project management plan and the project assignment. The study describes the objectives and variants and their evaluation.
  • Preparation of the project assignment with objectives, resources, milestones, schedule, costs, expenses, process model, project structure plan, risk plan and project organisation. The project manager is responsible for drawing up the project brief until the document is approved.
  • Setting up a suitable project organisation; managing the project team and deploying it in accordance with the defined customer project governance.
  • Dividing the project into sub-projects and work packages; creating the associated orders; evaluating suppliers; planning the deployment of personnel (defining responsibilities, performance targets, personnel planning) for the project; recruiting, managing and assessing (qualifying) project staff.
  • Recognising the impact of change requests, problems and changes in the general conditions on the project; in the event of deviations from the project plan, developing proposals for solutions and coordinating these with the client.
  • Defining the project marketing and communication plan; ensuring project information; involving stakeholders in project processing (maintaining relationships).
  • Establishing project-related quality assurance; implementing quality assurance measures; ensuring the quality of project results and arranging for their acceptance and approval.
  • Leading proactive risk management. Risks are identified and analysed. Depending on the significance of a risk, the strategy and measures for dealing with the risk are defined.
  • Checking and approving the project results; arranging for their acceptance and approval by the client.
  • Determining the key figures for progress and success control; selecting suitable processes for measuring and evaluating the key figures; using the controlling instruments to monitor and influence the behaviour of project employees and external suppliers.
  • Planning and controlling the project with regard to delivery items, deadlines, costs, quality and risks; preparing status reports; identifying and justifying deviations from the project plans and initiating any necessary measures; identifying and monitoring risks and opportunities and checking the effectiveness of the measures introduced.
  • Leading the project team and coordinating with the line organisation.
  • Creating a final project assessment (time, costs, functionality, teamwork, target achievement, utilisation of product/service) and documenting the learning effects/experiences from the project team’s perspective.
Skills
  • Experience in the management of IT projects according to competence level
  • HERMES Foundation, IPMA Level C or equivalent
  • High level of initiative and ability to grasp things quickly
  • Service- and result-orientated and independent way of working
  • Very good written communication skills
  • Completed studies (university, university of applied sciences or equivalent), e.g. business informatics

An advantage:

  • Industry knowledge in the field of energy supply would be desirable
  • Experience in the application of agile project management methods

GTS Architect

We are looking for a GTS Architect for our client on a project basis.

  • The customer is on RISE and has GTS 11 active. They have licensed already the GTS 4 HANA Edition – but have still not moved to this version.

     

  • We need an architect who can give the client advisory how to bring the content that is needed from the old version to the newest one; including effort estimation and next steps to set-up the project
